Services

We are delighted to welcome new patients and hope to make your dental care pleasant, comfortable, and rewarding.
-A thorough examination is the cornerstone of good dental health.  To begin, we ask you spend some time filling out the health history form.  This information and the blood pressure readings we take for adults will help us understand your general health.  We also check the condition of the soft tissues and the surrounding areas of your mouth and throat as recommended by the American Cancer Society.
-To enjoy good dental health, finding potential problems before they become serious is crucial.  Therefore, high resolution x-rays will be taken, when necessary, to expose any hidden oral problems you may have.  We will look carefully for possible bone or gum infections.   If needed, models of your mouth will be made to better examine the dynamics of your bite.  All previous dental work will be checked to see if any repairs or improvements need to be made. We will determine how much, if any, disease is present.
-Our treatment will always be professional, beginning with your first visit.
In addition, you will be encouraged to participate with your ideas and personal concerns.  A great beginning assures a rewarding outcome.
-We are extremely proud to offer a comprehensive approach to your dental health.  We believe in treating each person as an individual with individual concerns and needs.  We approach your dental care in the following manner:
1.  Thorough examination
Making careful and experienced observations and assessment from x-rays and clinical screening.
2. Treatment of any emergency needs, or active disease.
This may include abscessed or painful teeth, periodontal disease or active cavities. Treatment of Temperomandibular disorder, (sometimes called TMJ,) also addressed at this phase.
3. Examination of the patients aesthetic concerns
From bleaching discolored teeth, reshaping chipped or misshapen teeth, to bonding, veneers or crowns.  Orthodontics may also be a consideration in some cases.
4. Replacement of missing teeth as needed.
A wide variety of options exist today to replace missing teeth or close unwanted spaces.  Crowns or Caps can work very well in many cases; Bridges can replace one or more missing teeth where appropriate.  Implants are also available and make an excellent choice where conservation of tooth structure is concerned.  Partial dentures and full dentures, alone or in combination with implants, make an excellent restorative option when large numbers of teeth are missing.
5. A thorough recall and maintenance program.
Keeping your dental health at optimum levels through professional cleaning and periodic examination protects your investment and will keep you smiling for many years to come.
6.  In-House Dental Lab.
We are also one of a very few number of practices that has an in-house lab.  All crown and bridge work are custom shaded in the office and prepared with close cooperation between Dr. Hill and the lab, making the quality of the work you receive the best it can be.
